This incident happened recently in North Texas .

Wrong e-mail address?

A Minneapolis couple decided that they needed to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they had spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier.

Because of their individual hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate the travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday. His wife planned to fly down the following day.

Upon his arrival the husband checked into the hotel. He was surprised to see that the rooms were now equipped with a computer. He decided that he would send an email to his wife. However,he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing the error, he sent the email.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston , a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. Her husband was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack.

The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife
Subject : I've Arrived
Date: October 16, 2007

I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones.

I've just arrived and have been checked in. I've also seen to it that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then!

Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.

P.S. Sure is freaking hot down here!

==================

This incident happened recently in North Texas .

A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died on Wednesday.

The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis.

Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances. It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before drinking out of them. The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned.

A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (i.e.). Full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any kind of fatal accident.
